Last Tuesday Club

Last updated 19 October 2026

Who we are

The Last Tuesday Club app is the members' app for The Last Tuesday Club's poker nights. It's run by Jackson Carter Ltd ("we" or "us"). We're responsible for the personal information kept in the app, which makes us its "data controller" under UK data protection law.

If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email [email protected], or write to Jackson Carter Ltd, 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, England, WC1N 3AX.

Who can use the app

The app is only for members of The Last Tuesday Club who have been invited by the club's committee. It's for adults aged 18 and over. If we find out that someone under 18 has an account, we'll delete it.

What we collect

  • Your email address, which you use to sign in. We email you a code each time, so we never store a password.

  • Your profile: your first name and surname and, if you add them, a nickname and a photo.

  • Your mobile number, if you add one.

  • If you allow notifications, a code from your phone that lets us send it "Blinds are up" notifications. We delete it when you sign out or delete your account.

  • Your poker night history: which games you played, where you finished, your points, the prize money recorded for you, and any best hands recorded for you.

  • If you're on the committee, the changes you make to the league.

Before you join, a committee member gives us your name and email address so that you can sign in. You can't sign in unless you've been invited.

The money shown in the app is pretend money, for keeping score only. No payments or money transactions take place in the app, so we never see any card or bank details.

Our service providers also keep standard technical records, such as your IP address and when you signed in, to keep the service secure and working.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • run the app for the club, including your account, profile, the league table, game results and best hands. We need to do this to provide the service.

  • email you sign-in codes, and confirm a change of email address. We don't send marketing emails.

  • send a notification to your phone each time the blinds go up during a game you're playing in, until you're knocked out, if you've allowed notifications. We don't send any other notifications.

  • let the committee contact members and run the club.

  • keep a record of changes the committee makes, so that no one committee member can change things unseen. This is in the club's legitimate interests.

We don't sell your information, show you adverts, or use tracking or analytics.

Who can see your information

  • Every signed-in member can see your name, nickname, photo, whether you're on the committee, your results, points and recorded prize money, and your best hands.

  • Your email address and mobile number can only be seen by you and the committee.

  • The committee can see the activity log of changes made to the league.

We use these service providers, who handle information only on our instructions:

  • Supabase, which stores the app's information and photos and handles signing in. Your information is stored in London, in the United Kingdom.

  • Our email delivery service, which sends sign-in codes. It handles your email address and the content of those emails, and may do so in the United States.

  • Expo, which delivers notifications to phones through Apple's and Google's notification services. It handles your phone's notification code and the words of each notification in the United States.

Whenever information goes outside the UK, we rely on the legal safeguards that UK data protection law requires.

We'll only share your information with anyone else if the law requires it, for example if the police ask us to.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you have an account.

When you delete your account (Club, then Edit my profile, then Delete my account), we straight away delete your login, email address, mobile number, photo, nickname and your phone's notification code. Your past results and best hands stay in the league tables, so the club's history still adds up, but they're shown under the name "Former member" instead of yours.

At the same time, we remove your name, nickname, photo and email address from the committee's activity log. Its entries stay, so the record of who changed what still adds up, but they show "Former member" instead of you.

If you were invited but never signed in, your invitation stays until the committee deletes it. Email us and we'll delete it.

Our service providers may keep backup copies for a short time before they are overwritten.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • get a copy of your information

  • correct it (you can change most of it yourself in Edit my profile)

  • have it deleted (you can do this yourself with Delete my account)

  • object to, or restrict, how we use it

  • ask for a copy you can take to another service

To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Keeping your information safe

Everything sent between the app and our service providers is encrypted. Each member can only see and change what they're allowed to, and we don't store passwords.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and let members know in the app.
