About these terms
Artful Dodger is run by Jackson Carter Ltd. These terms are the rules for using the app. By creating a profile, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
Who can use Artful Dodger
You must be 18 or over.
One account per person, in your own name and with accurate details.
Keep your email account secure, because that's how you sign in.
The rules
Artful Dodger is for friendly banter about who gets their round in. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not post reviews, names, handles, photos or anything else that:
is hateful or discriminatory, including about race, religion, sex, sexuality, gender identity or disability
bullies, harasses, threatens or intimidates anyone
includes someone's private information, such as their address, phone number or email address
accuses someone of a crime, or is untrue and could damage their reputation
is sexual, violent or illegal, or involves anyone under 18
pretends to be someone else
Only add people as mates if you think they'd be happy to be on Artful Dodger.
Your reviews and content
You're responsible for what you post. It stays yours, but you give us permission to show it in the app so the service works.
Your reviews may be seen by other members, not just your mates, so only write what you would be happy for anyone to read.
We automatically filter out some words and private information, but we can't check everything before it appears.
Reporting, blocking and removal
You can report any review or person, and block anyone. We aim to look at every report within 24 hours.
We may hide or remove content, and suspend or delete accounts, that break these rules, without warning. A review is hidden automatically if several people report it.
Drink responsibly
Artful Dodger is about fairness, not about how much anyone drinks. Please drink responsibly, look out for your mates, and never drink and drive. For advice, visit drinkaware.co.uk.
Round Keeper is for keeping rounds fair. Never use it to pressure anyone into drinking or buying more than they want to. Buying a soft drink round counts just the same.
Our responsibility
We provide Artful Dodger as it is, and can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Reviews are the opinions of the people who wrote them, not ours.
Nothing in these terms takes away any rights you have by law, or limits our responsibility for anything the law doesn't allow us to exclude.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Edit my profile. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms.
Changes and the law
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll ask you to agree again in the app.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
